Methods: The expression of Survivin mRNA was detected with hybridiza-tion in situ in CIN and cervical carcionma，and the expression of Bcl-2 was detected with immunohistochemical method. Normal cervical tissues were acted as the control. Results: The positive rates of Survivin mRNA in cervical carcinoma，CIN and the normal cervical tissues were %，% and 0%，respectively；while the expression of Bcl-2 was %，% and 0% in the above three groups. There was significant difference among those groups. The expression of Survivin and Bcl-2 in CINⅢ was obviously more significant than those in CIN I/Ⅱ. And the differences were obviously more significant in cervical carcinoma at stage Ⅱb～Ⅲ than those at stageⅠ～Ⅱa. The expressio of Survivin and Bcl-2 with poorly differentiation were also obviously more significantly different than those with good or moderated differentiation. The expression of Survivin in cervical carcinoma with lymphatic metastasis was more significant difference than those without lymphatic metastasis. In our study，positive correlation between Survivin mRNA and Bcl-2 was observed in cervical carcinoma. Conclusion: The abnormal expression of Survivin and Bcl-2 may participate in the occurrence and development of cervical carcinoma，
