Step 1: 导入设计:(3 Minutes)
师:It’s a wonderful day. How was your day? Yesterday was a wonderful day, too. I went out for a walk and took some photos. I’d like to share them with you. Can you guess where i was yesterday?
(设计意图:用生活中的照片复习已经学过的过去时,引起学生的学习兴趣,激发学生热爱家乡的情感态度。)
Step 2: 课本内容复习过渡(2 Minutes)
师:On my way, I met some friends. Do you want to know where they were when I met them?
(设计意图:通过讲述我的所见所闻复习过去时以及地点的提问方式。)
Step 3:创设情境,学习新知 (35 Minutes)
师:Read the statements carefully and find out where they were when I met them.
(设计意图:通过教师本人的所见所闻,继续讲述过去时及地点的提问方式。)
师::Yesterday afternoon, it suddenly began to rain heavily. The rainstorm came. What were they doing at the time of the rainstorm? Do you know? Listen to the tape and circle the correct responses.
(设计意图:继续通过故事讲述引导学生探索新知。)
师:Read the phrases after me then read them by yourselves to be familiar with these expressions.
(设计意图:教师领读和学生自读相结合,让学生充分掌握所学短语。)
师:Listen again and fill in the blanks.
(设计意图:熟悉所学知识后及时进行听力练习,巩固所学知识。)
师:Let’s talk about what the people in 1a were doing at the time of the rainstorm.
设计意图:利用课本并根据实际情况,使用过去进行时进行对话练习。)
师:Now we know what they were doing at the time of the rainstorm. Then what were you doing at the same time yesterday? Talk about it in pairs.
(设计意图:学生结合自身情况进行讨论,巩固过去进行时的运用。)
师:Except these friends, I want to introduce a student to you. He is a good student, but he was late for school. Do you want to know why?
(设计意图:继续通过情景创设,激发学生求知欲,让学生带着问题进行听力练习。)
师:Now we have a new friend. Do you want to know what he did next yesterday? Let’s listen again to know the orders of things he did.
(设计意图:课本听力练习,了解事件的发展顺序,为写作打基础。)
师:Listen again to make sure what he did yesterday.
(设计意图:多次听力练习,明确动词在过去时和过去进行时中的使用方法。)
师:Read the sentences after me.
(设计意图:听后及时进行口语练习,尽快让学生掌握所学知识。)
师:Use the details to retell the story. I’ll give you an example.
(设计意图:运用所学知识复述课文,及时检查学生对知识掌握情况。)
师:Tell us your own story.
(设计意图:让学生结合自身实际,及时运用所学知识。)
Step 4 回顾与总结(1 Minutes)
将本节课所学知识呈现在PPT中,带领学生反复朗读,复习巩固本节课所学知识。
