Narrative continuation writing(记叙文读后续写)教学设计
I Teaching Objectives
By the end of this class,students will be able to:
l.Sort out the plots of a story with the help of six elements and the plot mountain;
2. Predict the next plot according to the given information;
3. Write one of the continuation paragraph with the checklist.
II Teaching Procedures
Lead-in: Give advice to the teacher on friendship problems.
Activity 1. Read for plots.
Step1. Preview the 6 elements of a story.
Step2. Skim the story very quickly and answer the questions.
1.Who were the characters(人物)?
2.What happened last Saturday?
Step3. Sort out the plots and feelings by using the plot mountain(情节山).
Activity 2. Predict the next plots.
Step4.Have a look at the given sentences in Para.5 and Para.6,find the key information and predict what will happen in the next paragraphs.
