Methods A total of 60 stroke patients with iomnia were randomly divided into treatment group （n=30） and control group（n=30）. The treatment group was given head massage and head meridian combing once a day. The control group was treated with oral estazolam for 1 mg per night before going to bed. The effective rate of sleep quality between the two groups was compared. Results After treatment for 20 days， the effective rate was 86.67% in the treatment group， which was higher than that of the control group（76.6%）. And there was significant difference between the two groups（P0.05）. There was significant difference between the two groups in Pittsburgh sleep quality index scores， and the scores of the treatment group were better than those of the control group（P0.05）. Conclusion The head massage plus head meridian combing can effectively improve the symptoms of iomnia in stroke patients， improve the quality of sleep and promote the early rehabilitation.
