To learn the words and expressions about school life. 2．To develop reading ability and express their thoughts. 3. Students develop more love for school and the world . 教法学法（Teaching and Learning Methodology）or 教学策略（Teaching and Learning Strategies） 以任务型教学法为核心。针对不同环节，充分利用多媒体来激发学生的兴趣和求知欲，拓展学生的知识 面，在教学中分别运用了情景教学法、直观法、讨论法和归纳法等教学方法，让学生理解文章并学会用英语 表述新学校的生活。 学法指导的目的就是最大限度的调动学生的主动性和积极性，帮助学生掌握阅读方法，培养学生的学习 能力，为学生发挥自己的聪明才智创造必要的条件，本节课我主要从以下两个方面进行指导： 课前指导学生如何自学，预习生词，尽可能地为阅读扫除障碍。 课上重点指导学生如何运用skimming, scanning, analyzing the text 等技巧。教师通过启发诱导， 鼓励人人参与，积极用英语思维，循序渐进的培养学生的自主学习和合作讨论能力，不断挖掘学生的学习潜 能，让其不断跨越台阶，最终完成本节课教学目标。 教学工具:电子白板。 教学过程(Teaching Procedures) Step 1. Pre- reading Lead-in In the last period, we introduced ourselves to each other. You all did a good job. I think ,on the first day of senior high, you must have many thoughts. Let’s see a video, tell me your first impression on your new school. Let’s learn about a boy named Likang’s first day at senior high. [设计意图] 此阶段目的是让学生熟悉问题，提供话题以激活其脑海中储备的相关知识，无形中激发了学生的求知欲，调 动了学生学习的主动性，为新课的开展做热身准备，从而提高课堂教学效率。通过观看本学校的视频，激发 学生兴趣，激起学生进行阅读的愿望。 Step 2.
