Greet the class . Step2. Oral practice . T ： Why? SI: Because T can do many things that I can do. T ： What do you do on weekends? S2 : I play volleyball on weekends. In this way , have the Ss give different answers. If a student say “I play volleyball every weekend. Then tell the Ss we can also say: I always play volleyball on weekends. ” Teach other adverbs of frequency : usually , often , sometimes, hard!y ever, never, to Ss and explain them. 2. Practice: Aask several Ss to make sentences using the adverbs of frequency according to their own opinion, then check their answers. Step3. lalb Have the Ss look at the picture carefully and then tell me what the people usually do on weekends. Point out the new words and guide them to write down the answers. (New words: skateboard , exercise) Explain the Ss how to finish lb , then play the tape twice and check the answers. Step4. 1c: Ask two Ss to read the dialogue to the class.
