Many coastal people in China live with the sea all their lives. It is they who have formed Chinas sea cul ture. The only tropical island province in China is Hainan Island, located on the southernmost part of the Chine se mainland and south of the vast South China Sea. Coastal tourism resources are very rich and have broad pro spects for development. With the arrival of mass tourism, the tourism industry has become more and more mat ure, and the hot spot of tourism industry has become the development and construction of coastal areas. How t o integrate the local characteristic culture into the coastal tourism products is an important issue. In addition to having a distinct image compared with other tourism industries, it is also a sustainable development, leaving n o
