深圳牛津版九年级下 Unit4 随堂读写训练(包含答案) Unit 4 读写训练 阅读理解 CFP Several months ago, 8-year-old Alex McKelvey set out to do some nice things for people she didn’t even know. For the past year, since her grandmother Linda died, the Washington girl and her family have performed hundreds of acts of kindness. “This is what her life was about, giving to others,” Alex said. She recently reached a goal that helped her family and hundreds of people who’ve received their special gifts. Alex was up before dawn on Sunday volunteering in a local town. That alone could have been her good deed for the day. But she was just getting started. By 8 am, the McKelveys were ready for breakfast at a restaurant where they would complete their next task. The McKelveys have taken a lot of time over the past year to make other people’s days. “It’s been fun to come up with all these ideas, but it also kind of helps us too,” said Sarah.
