During the leak detection process, rapid response to reduce false alarms and precise positioning are critical contents of leak detection technology.According to the different detected objects,the methods can be divided into direct and indirect detection.Based on the detection of different position,indirect detection methods are divided into the internal and external pipe leak detection methods.This paper summarizes various methods of leak detection philosophy,their advantages and disadvantages, mainly introduces the recent development of the leak detection software, finally it points out the existing problems and developing trends.
