Play the audio recording of the conversation. Ask the students to listen and repeat the sentences. Teacher models the conversation with a student and then asks the students to practice the conversation in pairs. Teacher monitors and provides feedback as necessary. Activity 2: Reading and Writing Objectives To develop reading and writing skills To learn sentence structure for making past tense sentences related to buying ice creams Materials Ice cream shop advertisement Sentence patterns for making past tense sentences Worksheet for writing past tense sentences Procedure Show the students the ice cream shop advertisement and read it aloud. Introduce the sentence patterns for making past tense sentences related to buying ice creams.
