As the cargo transit hub between countries and districts, port is playing a significant role in economic and social development which has become an important symbol of a country or an area’s social and economy development. In a new period marked by supply chain services, the competition between ports is increasingly intense, the original management idea already cannot adapt to the new demands of market competition and how to analyze and improve the competitiveness of the port in the new situation is an important subject. In view of the present problems of port competitiveness evaluation, this paper with the help of logistics and supply chain management concept to carry out evaluation of port competitiveness and solve the exited problems as well as put forward the competition between ports has actually become the competition between supply chains where the ports participated.
