protectiveequipment.Manyofthemfacedashortageofmedicalsupplies,yetthey

continuedtoprovidecareforpatients.TheseworkerstrulyexemplifiedtheAmerican

spiritandshowedtheircommitmenttothewell-beingofthenation.

Inrecognitionoftheirsacrifices,manypeopleandorganizationshaveexpressedtheir

gratitudetofrontlineworkers.Therehavebeenpublicdisplaysofsupport,suchas

applauseandcheersforhealthcareworkers.Manyindividualshavedonatedmoney,food,

andsuppliestosupporttheseworkers.Somecompanieshaveevengivenbonusesand

raisestotheirfrontlineemployees.

TheCOVID-19pandemichasbeenadifficulttimeforeveryone,butithasalso

broughtoutthebestinpeople.Frontlineworkershaveshownuswhatitmeanstobe

communityandworkingtogethertoovercomechallenges.
