TheCJ1117seriesprovidescurrentlimitingandthermal

shutdown.Itscircuitincludesatrimmedbandgapreferenceto

assureoutputvoltageaccuracytobewithin1%.Currentlimitis

trimmedtoensurespecifiedoutputCurrentandcontrolledshort-

circuitcurrent.On-chipthermalshutdownprovidesprotection

againstanycombinationofoverloadandambienttemperature

thatwouldcreateexcessivejunctiontemperature.

TheCJ1117hasanadjustableversion,thatcanprovidethe

outputvoltagefrom1.25Vto12Vwithonly2externalresistors.

TheCJ1117seriesisavailableintheindustrystandardSOT-

223,SOT-89,TO-220,TO-252andTO-263powerpackages.
