本课教学内容选自高等教育出版社出版的“十四五”职业教育国家规划教材（中等职业学校公共基础课程教材）《英语基础模块1》中Unit8PeopleandEvents的热身（WarmingUp）和听说（ListeningandSpeaking）板块，热身环节关联学生已有的百科知识储备，听力活动用蔡伦的造纸术为主题，引出口语表达讨论最喜欢的发明。通过任务型教学，要求学生能交流关于重要人物与事件的看法，并能谈论最喜欢的事物。

学情分析

学生对生活中的重大事件和重要人物有各自的知识储备，会一些英语的相关表达，预习过程也可让其作更多准备。在做蔡伦的听力主题和谈论最喜欢的发明时，能完成大多数的任务，但由于词汇量的不足和语言组织能力较薄弱，还需在学习和练习中掌握更多，练习得更扎实。提高听说能力，增强人类文明共同体意识。
