    −Thedeviceisdesignedfortheautomaticcontrolandmonitoringofprogressivecentralized

    lubricationsystems.

    −Thelubricationpause(pausetime)canbeadjustedasatime-dependentorpulse-

    dependentfactor.

    −Therunningtime(operatingtime)ofthecentrallubricationpumpcanbeadjustedasatime-

    dependentorpulse-dependentfactor.

    Inthecaseoftime-dependentoperatingtime,theoperatingtimeisadjustedonthecontrol

    device.

    Inthecaseofsystem-dependentoperatingtime,theoperatingtimeisdeterminedbyan

    initiatorwhichisfittedtoalubricantmeteringdeviceformonitoringthemovementofa

    meteringdevicepiston.

    Insuchacase,theoperatingtimeisdefinedasfollows:

    1operatingcycleoftheinitiatorontheSSVmeteringdevice=operatingtime(pumprunning

    time).

    −Themonitoringalsotakesceviatheinitiatorfittedtotheprogressivemeteringdevice.If

    nosignalisgivenbytheinitiatorafterexpirationofatime(monitoringtime)adjustedonthe

    controldevice,thecentrallubricationpumpisswitchedoffautomaticallyattheendofthe

    monitoringtimeandtherefollowsafaultsignal.

    −Elapsedpausetimesorpulseskeepstoredeveninthecaseofapowerfailure(timeor
