Becausetheroleofteacheristochangethelearnerinsomeway,the
teacher-studentrelationshipisanimportantpartofeducation.Sociologists
havepointedoutthatthisrelationshipisasymmetricalorunbalanced,with
theteacherbeinginapositionofauthorityandthestudenthavinglittle
choicebuttopassivelyabsorbtheinformationprovidedbytheteacher.In
otherwords,inconventionalclassroomsthereislittleopportunityforthe
studenttobecomeactivelyinvolvedinthelearningprocess.Ontheother
hand,studentsoftendevelopstrategiesforundercuttingtheteacher’s
authority:mentallywithdrawing,interrupting,andthelike.Hence,much
currentresearchassumesthatstudentsandteachersinfluenceeachother
insteadofassumingthattheinfluenceisalwaysinasingledirection.
2.CollegePressures
Iseefourkindsofpressureworkingoncollegestudentstoday:economic
pressure,parentalpressure,peerpressure,andself-inducedpressure.Itis
easytolookaroundforvillains—toblamethecollegesforchargingtoo
muchmoney,theprofessorsforassigningtoomuchwork,theparentsfor
pushingtheirchildrentoofar,thestudentsfordrivingthemselvestoohard.
Butthereisnovillains;onlyvictims.
1.的角色
因为的作用是在某种程度上改变学习者，所以师生关系是
教育的重要组成部分。社会学家，这种关系是不对称或不平衡
