AbstractObjective:BasedonMplus8.3,toclassifythepotentialcategoriesofdeathcopingabilitiesofnursingstudents,andanalyzethe

influencingfactors.Methods:Atotalof579nursingstudentsinTangshanCitywereconvenientlyselectedasthesurveysubjectsand

investigatedusingthegeneralinformationquestionnaireandtheDeathCopingAbilityScale.Results:ThescoreoftheDeathCoping

AbilityScalefornursingstudentswas(101.06±27.10).Thepotentialprofileanalysisidentifiedtwopotentialcategories:thegroupwith

insufficientdeathcopingability(63.73%)andthegroupwithoutstandingdeathcopingability(36.27%).Theresultsofmultivariate

analysisshowedthatthemaincaregiversofminors,theexperienceofattendingfunerals,whetherhavingwitnessedorpersonallyexperienced

(exceptforthemedicalenvironment)seriouslylife‐threateningevents,andphysicalandmentalconditionsweretheinfluencingfactorsof

thepotentialprofileofthedeathcopingabilityofnursingstudents(allP0.05).Conclusions:Thereisheterogeneityinthedeathcoping

abilityofnursingstudents.Relevantcollegesanduniversitiescan,basedondifferentpotentialcategoriesofdeathcopingabilityofnursing

students,cultivatetheircorrectunderstandingandcognitionofthevalueoflifeandactivelybuildthecurriculumsystemoflifeanddeatheducation.
