1.Scope

1.1Purpose—Practicestobeemployedfortheradiographic

examinationofmaterialsandcomponentswiththermalneu-

tronsareoutlinedherein.Theyareintendedasaguideforthe

productionofneutronradiographsthatpossessconsistent

qualitycharacteristics,aswellasaidingtheusertoconsiderthe

applicabilityofthermalneutronradiology(radiology,radio-

graphic,andrelatedtermsarede?nedinTerminologyE1316).
