Merchandise sales (91.5% of total sales) saw year-on-year growth in FY2000 thanks to the release of FINAL FANTASY IX and DRAGON QUEST VII as well as a contribution from strong video game hardware sales. DigiCube launched full-scale operations in its kiosk terminal business in November 2000.
