Students should be able to employ a good level of linguistic knowledge while speaking English so that effective communication can take place on a wide range of topics in moderately complex situations.??????????Communication becomes more and more important in our daily life and it is indispensable in Chinese international activities. But it has been a big problem for Chinese learners of English to develop communicative competence. Intercultural communication ability was a new concept formed in 1990s.
