Methods Ana- lyze and probe r les of ac point heat-sensitization and its clinical application from the ac point heat-sensitization phe- nomenon. Results ( 1) In the h man being t here are two f nctional states, sensitization state and rest state. When the h man body has disease, ac points on the body s rface may be sensitized wit h vario s t ypes of sensitization, and ac point heat-sensit izat ion is a type of ac point sensit izat ion. The sensitized ac points show ac point-specific small st im lation ind cing large response for external relative stim lat ion. ( 2) Optim m stim lation for the heat-sensi- t ized ac point is moxib stion-heat, also it is t he optim m point for moxib stion therapy, w ith a therape t ic effect far better than ac p nct re and moxib stion at ac points of ro tine rest state. ( 3) H eat-sensit ized ac point s nder moxib stion-heat stim lation very easily invigorates moxib stion sensation propagation along channels, great ly in- creasing clinical t herape tic effect.
