摘 要 会展是人们进行信息交流、洽谈合作和进行贸易的一种活动形式，一般落地于经济集 中的区域。世界会展发展经历了集市贸易、工业展览和万国博览会三个阶段。广州自古就 是我国南方重要的商贸城市，中西文化的汇聚地，其会展的发展与国际会展的发展脉络相 一致。其中，广交会是广州会展史中重要的历史阶段。 本文以广州会展史为研究对象，以广交会为重点，对广州会展的兴起和发展过程进行 总体的研究与分析。首先概述了世界和中国会展的发展历程，然后考察了广州会展的起源 及其在鸦片战争至民国期间的发展。随后，本文以广交会的发展为线索，对解放后广州会 展的发展进行梳理，分析了广州会展对中国社会主义建设事业和广州城市建设的促进作 用，及其对岭南文化的展示功能。最后，本文分析了广州会展的存在问题，提出对策，展 望未来应从加强政府宏观调控职能、提升会展企业的综合水平以及发挥岭南文化对会展产 业的激励作用方面推进广州会展的发展。 总之，本文力图在现有文献资料和前人研究的基础上，对广州会展史进行考察，为人 们全面客观地认识广州会展地发展过程提供帮助，并为当前广州会展的可持续发展提供一 定的历史借鉴和史实依据。 关键词：广州； 广州会展史； 广交会 ABSTRACT Exhibition is a form that for people to exchange information, discuss cooperation and trade, generally which is located in a region central business. There are three stages that MICE world has experienced- the country fair trade, the industrial exhibition and the Expo. Guangzhou, in the South of China, has been a major commercial and trade city since ancient times. It is a city combined western and eastern culture, as well the development of its exhibition and development of the International Convention consistent thread.
