摘 要 1909年，商务印书馆创办了中国近代教育史上历时最长、影响最大的教育 期刊——《教育杂志》，对我国教育的发展与近代化产生了巨大影响。本文选取 了 1909 至 1919 年这一时间段，对该杂志进行系统的分析与研究，希望能以小 见大，从一个侧面反映这一时期中国教育变革的进程。 本文首先从对《教育杂志》的办刊主体、办刊方针、编辑人员、撰稿人员、 读者群、文章类型和结构等的介绍与分析入手，指出该杂志在当时教育领域的 地位与分量，以及取得成功的原因；其次本文介绍了这一时期该杂志对三种主 要教育思潮——军国民教育思潮、国民教育思潮、职业教育思潮的提倡与鼓吹， 并以该杂志为背景描绘了三种教育思潮的发展及其影响；接下来笔者介绍了这 一时期《教育杂志》对于初等教育改良的探索、对于各科教学法改进的探讨、 对于学制改革研究与建议，指出该杂志对于当时教育改革的巨大影响；在对上 述内容进行介绍与分析之后，文章最后指出了这一时期的《教育杂志》促进了 教育理论的更新，推动了教育改革的发展和国民教育观念的进步。该杂志虽然 也存在着种种弊端和无法回避的局限性，却仍在中国近代教育期刊中占据着举 足轻重的地位。 关键词：《教育杂志》；军国民教育思潮；国民教育思潮；职业教育思潮；学制 1 Abstract The Commercial Press founded the longest and most influential education journal in Chinas modern history of education - Education Magazine in the year 1909, which had a tremendous impact on Chinas educational development and modernization. This article has been selected to analysis and research the magazine between 1909 and 1919, wished to describe from one side to reflect this period Chinas education reform process. This paper researched the founder, running approach, editors, authors, readers, the article type and structure of the Education Magazine at first, pointing out that the magazine’s status of components in the field of education, and the reasons of the success of the magazine. Followed, this paper introduced the three major education ideas in this magazine during this period – the education thought of armed national people, the national education thought, and the vocational education thought, Including how to advocacy to promote the thoughts, the development and impact of the three education thoughts.
