中文摘要 英语高考是我国高考科目中改革力度最大，发展最快，变化 最频繁的一个，尤其对于广东省的高考考生而言。由于新课程标 准的实施，以巴赫曼的交际性语言测试理论为指导的广东省英语 高考，作出了有益的尝试。本文通过对广东省英语高考卷（1）、 （2 ）的有效性分析比较，通过与上海卷从考试题型到考试形式 的比较，通过对美国 SAT 考试制度的介绍，指出现行广东省英 语高考的优缺点，并提出了相应的建议。 本文旨在以2004 年的广东省英语高考为范例，运用科学的 定量定性分析手段，探究以交际性语言测试理论为指导的英语高 考是如何达到对高考学生的英语交际能力的区分的。希望通过本 文的研究，对广东省英语高考改革作出更为有效和更为全面的评 估，从而达到有利于促进中学英语教学改革，有利于高校选拔新 生的目的。 关键词：广东省英语高考 新课程标准 交际理论 口试 5 Abstract The reform of the National Matriculation English Test (NMET) is one of the most dynamic ones in all subjects, NMET for Guangdong candidates in particular, which, directed by Bachman’s Communicative Approach, and taking his test usefulness as criterion of quality control, has recently developed Test II, a brand new subtest as a means to assess candidates who take English and its related subjects as their majors. The thesis explores and evaluates the reform of NMET for Guangdong candidates in the context of the new National Curriculum Standards within the framework of Bachman ’s test usefulness. With the comparison of NMET in Shanghai, especially the computer-aided Oral English Test, and also with the introduction of SAT in America, the present research investigates the effectiveness of Test I and Test II of the NMET administered to senior students in Guangdong Province in 2004.
