The performance of constant-power adaptive M-ary Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (MQAM) schemes over correlated Rayleigh channels under MRC diversity reception is investigated. Closed-form expressions for spectral efficiency of adaptive MQAM assuming perfect channel estimation and negligible time delay are derived.
