Abstract
Guideline of social and scientific courses for Shanghai Municipal primary
schools states that this course is oriented to introducing social and
scientific knowledge mandatory for students’ lifetime learning and
growth, adopting practice and experience as key methods, and focusing on
nurturing students’ culture to be guided toward the right way to live
with people, the society and the environment, and cultivating their
temperament to shape their sound personality and quality. The core concept
of the courses points out its emphasis on Humanity attainment. This
Guideline suggests that sound Humanity attainment and scientific
attainment became two “must-have” qualities for modern citizens.
Under the guidance of the educational concept from course revolution,
this essay is positioned to one of social and scientific courses for
primary schools-ethics and social studies and aimed to explore
effectively into the subject of cultivating Humanity attainment for
primary school students.
The essay consists of 6 parts:
First part is general statement that mainly states essay’s research
background, research purpose, and definition of core concept, related
literature and research methodology.
Second part mainly discusses the links between the subject of
elementary schools ethics and society and Humanity attainment cultivation.
It includes the links between three aspects of concept, content, process
in the subject of elementary schools ethics and society and Humanity
attainment cultivation
The third part mainly states characteristics of Humanity attainment
cultivation in the subject of elementary schools ethics and society, say,
it’s for children, it needs practice, and it’s basic and comprehensive.
