ABSTRACT
With the development of the reform and opening up of the Socialist market economy, China’s higher
education has been experiencing a huge reform, of which the reform of graduate distribution system has
always been an important part. Through those reforms, the higher education turned to face directly to the
market by meeting with the needs of socialist market economy and has been cultivating more excellent
talents. Meanwhile, a lot of foreign-stated companies entered into China and made a great contribution to
the development of China’s economy. The talents localization strategy of those foreign-stated companies
focus on the most talented graduate students and its obvious advantages such as high salary and spacious
development make them the first choice of most university graduates when they think about their future
career. During the talents hunter of those foreign-stated companies, they make great use of many possible
channels to connect with the university students and their employment standards is exerting a subtle
influence on China’s higher education. As specific employment units, the foreign-stated companies have
been becoming one of the important factors which impact the reform of China’s higher education. Through
analyzing the employment standard and employment cases, this thesis tries to reveal the difference of
employment conception between domestic and foreign companies. This thesis selects a typical case of the
employment standard of the famous BMS company and made a brief analysis of the channels of and how
the employment standards of foreign-stated companies affect the talents concept of teachers and students in
China’s higher education, and finally the writer tries to provide a new view for the research of China’s
higher education reform.
