If we could introduce more fresh teaching methods through such as English movies and use it in current English classrooms, it is certain that students will benefit from it. Hereby arethemainreasons: 1) Adoption of English movies into teaching is not difficult to implement, and this can be performed with just the available equipment and selected audio-video materials. 2) English movies contain integrated information with the help of audio and visual stimuli. 3) Englishmovies not only arousestudents’ interestin English and developstudents’ intercultural communicative competence, but also cultivate students’ listening and speakingabilities.
