论文摘要
《良友》画报创刊于1926 年 2 月,1945 年 10 月停刊,是民国上海风行一
时的时尚刊物。作为一份商业性画报,《良友》为迎合及引导社会风尚,刊登的
多为电影、电影明星、体育、美术、旅游、科技等当时人们追捧崇尚的摩登新奇
事物。商业性的趋利,原本可以很好的解释画报所呈现的内容,画报的风行一时
也可以解释为商业经营的成功。但是画报的内容不仅仅是摩登新奇,而是渐渐带
上了政治关怀和政治宣传。画报中出现了党国各派要员们的明星式宣传,“九一
八”后出现了大量日本军事行动报道和国际时评,还有战前战后形象急剧转变的
共产党。在抗战爆发以后,画报从一份时尚刊物转变成一份以战争宣传为主的政
治化刊物。当政治也被带进商业经营和社会风尚的时候,《良友》的时代似乎不
再是弥漫着老上海时尚气息的时代,而是一个政治化的时代,《良友》在这个时
代中走向政治化已是不可避免的。

ABSTRACT
The Young Companion pictorial, a fashion periodical warmly welcomed in
Republican Shanghai, was founded in Feburary, 1926, and ceased publication in
October, 1945. As a commercial pictorial, The Young Companion is intended to be
“Ice Cream for Eyes”. The ingredients of this pleasing “ice‐cream” can be Cover girls,
Movies and movie stars, art photograph, sports, fine art, trip recordings and even the
naked. It’s a plausible conclusion that the coverage of these ingredients is drived by
commercial need. But it’s interesting that political care and political propaganda has
never been far away. Leaders of KMT, warlords are reported like movie stars.
Japanese armies have been keenly noticed. International news commentations are
surprisingly sensitive and correct on the impending World War Two. Editors’ attitude
toward Communist Party of China subtlely changed during Anti‐Japanese War. It is
the outbreak of Anti‐Japanese War that totally changed The Young Companion from
a fashion magazine to a politician one who take the responsibility of war propaganda.
The politicalization of The Young Companion seems inevitable in this time.
