The exp licit expo sition of the p rofe ssional characteristics of elem entary school teachers is the logical starting point to con struct the model of elem en tary schoo l teacher education. To bring forth new idea s in to the model, the educators shou ld adhere to the comp rehen sive m ethod, emp ha size the train ing of teach ing sk ills and reinforce teach ing p ractice. The se are keys to imp rove the quality of elem entary schoo l teacher education.
