Among the products of electronics, automobiles, motors, electrical equipments, instruments, meters, household appliances and communications, 60% to 80% of the parts shaped rely on the mold. The mold of Beilun, Ningbo started from the 1960s, at the support of all levels of government and joint effort of enterprises, it developed rapidly after 1990s, the size of the industry is growing, technology ladder is improving, and the structure of industry is becoming more rational. In recent years, the industry of Beilun mold grows rapidly by nearly 20%of the rate, and it leads to the development of Beilun from the economic, social, cultural and other aspects. Although the mold industry of Beilun has created many benefits for the locality, but it is facing many difficulties in the process of fast development, they have become important factors to restrict enhancing the export competitive power of Ningbo Beilun mold industry. This article is for the purpose of studying the Ningbo Beilun molds export competitive power, through the SWOT analysis and Diamond Model to analyze the export of Beilun mold, discovers the problems, such as lack of competitive brands, the lack of technological innovation, lack of professional mold talent and so on, in view of the question, we can propose the practical and feasible countermeasure that promotes the Ningbo Beilun mold export competitive power , for example establish the brand, strengthen technical improvements, personnel training ,by a series of means, Beilun molds competitive power can be strengthen.
