Methods: Delphi methods were used to develop the evaluation index system of clinical practice competencies of nursing graduate students. Two rounds of expert consultations were conducted with 35 experts from East China area. Results: The final evaluation indexes of clinical practice competencies were comprised of 8 first-level indexes and 41 second-level indexes. The first-level indexes included fundamental knowledge, clinical skills, critical thinking, clinical research, clinical teaching, nursing management, foreign language, and social response. Conclusions: This project has a rigorous and reliable construction process with strong theoretical and practical significance, and could be used as a guidance and reference for clinical practice competencies training and evaluation of master of science in advanced practice nursing.
