A field experiment ombining with a mi roplot in Yun nan provin e was arried out to further study the effe ts of N fertilization on the growth and N uptake of flue ured toba o. Two N appli ation rates of 120 and 525 kg/ ha were used. The results showed that toba o supplied N 120 kg/ ha mainly utilized soil N after topping, while soil N be ame the dominant N sour e after rosette for plants with N 525 kg/ ha.
