In this a er an alternative wa of heat transfer in the heat exchan er of VAC s stem p y p p y g y is racticed for efficient runnin . In contrast to the conventional fluid arran ement in shell- tube heat exchan er, the p g g g steam flows in the tubes and the w ater flows between the shell and the tubes. It is found that the new wa of heat ex- y chan e leads to a reduction of dra and a smooth increase ment of tem erature .
