Abstract Abstract  Since reformation and opening in China  a great deal of farmers  land has been expropriated by local government in the process of urbanization and industrialization .  As a result of it many land – losing farmers appear. Several factors  including obscure  relation of property right of land two kinds of economic and social structure imperfect  laws and policy and so on  contribute to the farmers  losing land and a series of rights attached to their land such as economic right politic right social right etc..  Land security function of land – losing farmers is vanishing while other forms of social security have not been established. Land – losing farmers are confronted with a  series of problems  to which more and more experts and scholars pay great attention . From study fruits of scholars by such methods as combination of theory and practice  combination of history and reality  we try to deeply analyze land – losing farmers  demands for social security and supply  and establish land – losing farmers  social  security system completely. Contents and structure of this thesis are as follows: the introduction analyzes the  problems confronted by land – losing farmers  and points out the weight of research.  The first section of the thesis illustrates the origin of the problems of land – losing  farmers  explores the phenomenon and reasons of right – lost of land – losing farmers and points out that land security function of land – losing farmers is vanishing while other forms of social security have not been established. The second section of the thesis observes land – losing farmers demands for social security and supply and then indicates the necessities of establishment of land – losing farmers social security. In the third section of the thesis land – losing farmers social security is constructed  completely. At last the close section makes a summary and a prospect.
