In IP network,routing protocol is the main BGP protocol, BGP protocol control mechanism routing strategy is rich, can be widely used in the management and maintenance of traffic sharing, service quality control and network. With the development of IP network, BGP planning and optimization is becoming more and more important in IP backbone network. Planning and optimization method based on the BGP routing protocol in IP backbone network, a detailed description of the various properties of BGP routing protocols, including BGP attribute, decision process of BGP, BGP, the ability to exchange routing information base (RIB) etc..
