At present, the main embedded operating system adopts Linux as its operating system . Although the I2C hardw are architecture is relatively sim ple, its realization in Linux is quite complicated. It mainly concerns the development of the I2C bus drive and the develop ment of I2C application making use of user interface f unction provided by the device drive. Also, the I2C bus architecture is elaborated and specific examples are given to illustrate the general w ay of com munication betw een I2C bus and I2C de vice in ARM processor S3C2410.
