T: Class begins.

T: Good morning, boys and girls. How are you today?
Ss: I’m fine, thanks.
T: But I’m not fine today. I’m tired now. I want to listen to a song. Do you like songs?
Ss: Yes.
T: Let’s listen to a song.
二、Review
T: There are some words about feelings in the song. Let’s listen to the song again and find them, OK?
Ss: OK.
T: Can you find the words? What are they? ( Do some actions and elicit Ss to say the words.)
三、Words learning
T: ( Show a picture.) Look at the picture. She’s_______.
Ss: Tired.
T: She’s tired. Do you know why? Because she stayed up late. Read after me “stayed up late”.
Ss: “Stayed up late”.
T: Why is she tired?
Ss: Because she stayed up late.
(Do the same with other three phrases.)
T: Now, please read the words by yourselves.
T: (In a minute) OK, now please read the words after the tape.
四、Target language
T: Today, Tony is tired too. Do you know why?
Ss: No, I don’t.
T: OK. Please read the Target and fine why is Tony tired?
T: (In a minute) Can you read the sentences?
Ss: Yes.
T: Please read the sentences together , then read them after the tape.
T: Very good. Now please act out the dialog in pairs. One is Tony, one is Ben.
(Later, ask some volunteers to act out the dialog.)
T: OK, let’s look at the pictures and recite the dialog together.
