In English teaching, the methods of homework assignment have a certain influence on the students’ results. Recently, English textbooks of middle school have been updated, which make it necessary that teachers have to find some effective methods of homework assignment that adapt to the new textbooks to improve students’ English results. And I am curious that how to arrange the sequence of homework assignment and imparting knowledge is more effective.

I want to make sure which sequence is more effective, homework assignment first or imparting knowledge first, on improving the students’ English results.
