Four emulsifiers, sodium dodec l diphenox l disulfonate( SDD) , sodium( pol ox eth lated oct l phenol) maleate ( OS) , sodium dodec l sulfate ( SDS) and pol ox eth lated oct l phenol ( OP- 10) were used in the pol merization. Effects of their dosing, ratio of non-ionic to anionic emulsifiers on pol merization, emulsion properties and latex film properties were dis- cussed. The results show that most stable pol merization and optimum comprehensive properties of emulsion and latex film were ob- tained when mass ratio of SDD to OP-10 is 1/ 2.
