Time-delayed Feedback Chaos Control of Dynamic
Cournot Game in Power Market

Abstract: In order to improve the economic benefit of the power market in the chaotic state, the dynamic
Cournot game model w ith bounded rationality in power market is established and the time-delayed feedback
chaos control is proposed. If the paramaters are out of the stability region of the Nash equilibrium, the period
even the chaotic state w ould be appeared. The economic performence is poor in the chaotic state. The differ-
ence betw een the generated energy of one period and some period previous is took as control signal of the time-
delayed feedback chaos control method, w hich is added to the generated energy of the next priod, and the cha-
otic behavior is controlled to Nash equilibrium, thereby the economic benefit of the market is increased. The
proposed method is verif ied by the examples of 2-node and 3-node pow er market.
