The effective diameter is narrowed. Thus, tmi e for blank solution to flow through the capil lary is different before and aftermeasuring tmi e of the solution with variedmass concentration, making the averagemolecular weight strikingly different. Despite mi portance of the tmi e for blank solution, no uniform ly adopted method has been estab lished to determ ine it. owever, for the currently usedmethods, /is no longer the linear functionas the concentration sp decreases.
