Methods: Data regarding the drug utilization in orthopedic patients during the period from 2009 to 2011 were retrieved from hospital network information system, and analyzed statistically by using the methods of amount of sorting and DDDs. Results: The constituent ratios of consumption sum of anti-infective drugs over three consecutive years were 61.28%, 56.64% and 25.23%, respectively, and those ratios of digestive system drugs were 9.06%, 9.61% and 16.48% in our hospital from 2009 to 2011, respectively.
