摘 要 技术悲观主义是一种对技术的社会价值持否定态 的社会思潮，产生于20 世 纪50 、60 年代，自60 、70 年代全球性问题爆发，世界上掀起了轰轰烈烈的环境保 护运动，特别是在 1972 年罗马俱乐部 《增长的极限》报告发表以后，技术悲观主 义成了一种广为大众所知的并且拥有独立理论形态的思潮，影响深远。 本文对技术悲观主义思潮进行了理论与现实的考察。认为技术悲观主义的产 生有一条明晰的线索，那就是西方反理性主义、非理性主义思潮的形成与发展的线 索。西方反理性主义、非理性主义思潮看到了技术社会带来的种种危机，批判了技 术的负面效应，强调人的价值，技术悲观主义就是在这样一种思潮下应运而生的， 技术悲观主义是一种人类对技术文化的否定性反思，是一种人类潜意识中对技术的 忧患之思。技术悲观主义看到了技术理性的缺陷，倡导一种重视人的价值，重视人 与自然和谐共处的价值理性。 技术悲观主义有其虚无、消极的一面，容易导致一种反技术的倾向，容易使 人对未来产生恐惧、失去信心，然而技术悲观主义也有其超越、建设性的一面，它 对技术负面效应的批判，给世人以警示，唤醒了人们的忧患意识。它对全球性问题 进行了反思，提 资源有限论，环境价值论，促成了环境伦理学的诞生，构成了可 持续发展的理论基础，这都有助于我们更准确地理解技术的本质，科学地制定社会 发展战略，构建和谐社会。 关键词：技术悲观主义;可持续发展；合理性 I ABSTRACT Since the 1960s ，technology has got deep er and deep er into every aspect of social lives day by day as a kind of dominant strengths. While bringing the innumerab le achievements of civilized progress to peop le, technology brings all sorts of negative effects to mankind inevitably either. Technology is turning into a global p ower, it begins to influence the roots of human history, and it brings extremely unst ab le factors to human history. Under this situ ation, humanism scholar, philosopher, ecologist and even ordinary masses have all pondered over technology. Does technology itself contain valu e on earth? What does it have to do with technology and ecological environment? What is the essence of technology? Is technology a force with independence? These questions embody a concentrated reflection of the ideological trend of technology pessimism.
