Lesson 1 EnglishAn International Language (第二课时) 一、学习目标: 帮助学生弄明白学习英语的原因。 锻炼学生主动积极的发言，培养积极开朗的性格。 　　(一)基础目标: 　　1. 认识vocabulary中的单词 2. 理解和运用(1). English is the most popular language on the Internet. ( 2.)French-speacking people live not only in France but also in Canada and African countries. 等重点句型。 　　3. 能听懂和理解听力中的对话内容，并能做出正确答案。 （二）发展目标： 能运用所学知识谈论一些图片的内容。 能根据所学内容完成英语小短文。 树立起学好英语的观念。 　　（三）能力目标： 　　运用所学知识简单的谈论英语在我们周围起的重要作用。 　　能培养学生看图用英语说对话的能力。 　　培养学生用英语自编自演对话。 　　情感、策略和文化等有关目标： 　　1. 情感态度：培养学生的热爱英语的意识。 　　2. 学习策略：在开展小组活动，编排对话的时候要善于学习 　　别的同学好的方法。 　　3. 文化目标: 更加了解英语的广泛用处。 教学重点 1 本课重点单词及短语。 2 看图片做对话 3 读短文回答问题。 教学难点 对话的组成及运用 四、教学资源: Student’s book 11 Student’s book 8下 unit1　 Lesson one 　　Words and picture cards lesson1Unit 1 　　Teaching Transparencies lesson1Unit 1 教学时间：1课时 (每课时35~40分钟) 1. Developing skills Listen and Speaking ①Work in groups of three,Make up conversations after the model. Use the picture and the word cues below.Teacher can introduce the pictures.When the students write their ideas , teacher can go around the classroom to help the students if the need help.After they finish writing, check the answers. Teacher can choose the best students to read their text in classroom. ② Pair work. Suppose your class is gong on a study trip to London during the summer holidays. Complete the following dialogue between a student and a teacher about the trip.Use the post cues. Give the students some minutes ,after a while ,check the answers. Answers: how long will last when how we’ll where we can ③ Do a survey. Listen to the tape and complete the two tasks. ④ Listening. First，play the record，the students only listen carefully； Second，fill in the table； And finally，check the answers. Methods:Teacher can play the tape more than two times. Purpose:① 让学生通过听并填表格来提高学生的听力水平。 ②让同学们以小组合作的形式解决问题，促进了他们的集体意识的形成。也增加了学习气氛。 (2) Reading and writing (1) ①Read the text and decide whether the following questions true or false. Let the students read th
