Grammars（语法）状 语 从 句 时间状语从句 地点状语从句 原因状语从句 目的状语从句 结果状语从句 方式状语从句 比较状语从句 让步状语从句 条件状语从句 状语从句在句子中常用作表示时间、地点、原因、目的、结果、方式、比较、让步、条件等。 1.时间状语从句 表示时间的从属连词有when，while，as，after，before，since，till，once，as soon as，hardly…when，no sooner…than，the moment等。 例句： ? We’ll stay here till it stops raining. ? Once you understand this rule, you will have no further difficulty. 2.地点状语从句 表示地点的从属连词有where，wherever等。 例句： The teacher started where he stopped yesterday. ? VJohn went wherever he could find work. 3.原因状语从句 表示原因的从属连词有because，as，since，now (that)等。 例句： ? As Mary is not ready, we must go without her. ? Now that the weather has improved, we’ll be able to enjoy the game. 4.目的状语从句和结果状语从句 目的状语从句 表示目的的从属连词有that，so that，lest，in order that，for fear that等。 例句： ? We climbed high so that we might get a better view. 结果状语从句 表示结果的从属连词有so that，so… that，that，such that等。 例句： ? John was so shy that everyone noticed him. 5.方式状语从句 表示方式的从属连词有as，as if，as though等。 例句： ? You must try to hold the tool as I do. ? Under certain conditions light and sound may both act as though they were waves. 6.比较状语从句 表示比较的从属连词有as…as，not so…as，more…than，less…than，the…the等。 例句： ? It is less hot than it was yesterday. ? The smaller the particles, the more freely do they move. 7. 让步状语从句 表示让步的从属连词有though，although，as，even if，whether…or，whoever，whatever等。 例句： ? All magnets behave the same whether they are large or small. ? Though it is raining, I still believe he will come. 8.条件状语从句 表示条件的从属连词有if，in case，so long as，if only，only if，unless，so long as，but that等。 例句： ? We can surely overcome the difficulties so long as we closely united. ?
