· 176· ORIGlNALARTICLE A RandomizedClinicalStudyonOptimum Proposalof IntegrationofDiseaseandSyndrometoTreatViralMyocarditis LUShi—chao(吕仕超)’，ZHANGJun-ping(张军平)，ZHUYa-ping(朱亚萍)，ZHOUYa-nan(周亚男)’ XIAONan(肖楠)，GUOXiao-chen(郭晓辰)，WANGXiao-ling(王晓玲)’， RONGJie(荣杰)’，andWUMei—fang(吴美芳)’ ABSTRACT objeodve：TodeterminetheoptimumtreatmentforviraImyocarditis(VMC)．Methods：Atotalof126 VMCpatientswererandomlydividedintothecontroIgroup(42cases1thatwastreatedwithconventionaIWestern medicine，andtheinterventiongroup(84cases)thatwastreatedwithacombinationofChinesemedicine(CM) andWestem medicineinterventiontermedoptimum proposalofintegrationofdiseaseandsyndrome(OPIDS)． Beforeandafter4weeksoftreatment，theintegralofCM syndrome，self-ratingdepressionandanxietyscales (SDSandSAS，respectively)，echocardiograms(ECGs)，hearlratevadabili~andleftventricularsystolicfunction wereobsewed．Results：Comparedwiththecontrolgroup，theinterventiongroupshowde significantreductions ontheSDSandSAS(P0．05)：improvementofprematureventdcularbeats，atdoventricularblocks，sT_segment abnormalities，andsignificantTwavechanges(P0．05)：greaterreductionsinstandarddeviationofNNintervals (SDNN)，standarddeviationforper5minaveragesNNintervals(SDANN)，androot—mean-squareofsuccessive differenceofNNintervals(rMSSD)(PO．05)；andincreasesincardiacoutput，strokevolume，andejectionfraction， theIastofwhichwasstatisticallysignificant(P0．05)。Overall，thetreatmentefticacyratewassignificantlybeRer (PO。05)intheinterventiongroup(75．61％)comparedwiththecontrolgroup(69_70％)．Conclusion：0PIDSis quiteeffectiveintreatingVMCandimprovessymptomssuchasanxietyanddepression．Ieftventricularsystolic dysfunction，prematureventricularcontraction，andcardiacautonomicnervoussystemdysfunction．R【egistration： ChineseclinicaItrialcenter(No．ChicTR-TRC】 KEYWORDS viraImyocarditis．Chinesemedicine．randomizedclini
