The two ech elon supply chain consisting of a single supplier and a single retailer w as studied, and it s discrete decision models wit h consumer return under uncertain demand based on tw o supply chain coordinat ion policies w ere const ruct ed. Re alization conditions for optimal decision under tw o coordination policies w ere compared. For any customer demand distribut ion w ith strictly increasing cumulat ive distribution function, the supply chain w as bett er coordinated when consumer returns w ere not considered in t he decision making process. The buy back contract mechanism was de signed to coordinate supply chain w ith consumer return. A numerical experiment w as presented to illustrate the in fluence of the parameters on supply chain under two coordination policies.
