In the fierce market competition, information plays a vital role for the survival and development of enterprises. The modern business needs a strong information support functions, in order to adapt to the efficient management activities, it helps enterprises to improve competitiveness and play to their own advantage. At present, the pawn industry is lagging behind, lot of enterprises still use manual recording approach to the business, and still don’t have a complete, unified system. Therefore, the design and development of scientific and rational hock management information system is the key for a pawnshop to take comprehensive information management, and to improve efficiency. Based on the theory of management information systems, and combined with the status of Wuxi Liang Qing pawn Ltd, this paper using object-oriented techniques, UML, database technology, to analysis and design a detailed hock management information systems.
