Abstract：Inordertoobtaintherelationship modelbetweenrequirednegativeandpositivepressuresvaluesandthe
structuralandoperatingparametersinthemainmeteringprocessesattheabsorbing，retaininganddroppingstages，the
seeding processofpneumatic cylinder-typecentralized rapeseed precision metering devicewere analyzed．Through
analyzing the influence ofoperationaland sturctura1parameters on the performance ofpneumatic cylinder—type
centralizedrapeseedprecisionmeteringdevice，theworkingprincipleofthepneumaticcylinder-typecentralizedprecision
metering devicewassummarized．and itsbasicconfigurationwasdesigned．Dynamicand lcinematicsmodelswere
established in themainmeteringprocessesattheabsorbing，retainingand dropping stages，andExtendedDiscrete
ElementMethod softwraewasused forthe simulation and calculation ofabsorbing process，based on which the
relationshipmodelbetweenrequirednegativeandpositivepressuresvaluesandthesturcturalandoperatingparameters
wereestablishedinseedingprocess．Theresultsofextendeddiscreteelementmethodsimulationanalysisindicatedthatin
ordertoensurethereliableworkofthemeteringdevice，theheightofseedsshouldbelimitedwithinthe0．65D 。which
